On May 30, 2016 Stanford's Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law (CDDRL) together with our partners at Poder Ciudadano and the Office of Anti-Corruption hosted a special event to showcase global anti-corruption practices in Buenos Aires, Argentina. CDDRL and our partners were joined by distinguished panelists, who included; Monica Macovei, former Minister of Justice of Romania; Iván Velásquez Gómez, CICIG, Guatemala; and Erry Hardjapamekas, former head of the Indonesian anti-corruption commission. The panel was moderated by Hugo Alconada, a leading Argentine journalist and author on anti-corruption.
