Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies

The Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies is a university-wide research and education institution at Stanford devoted to understanding the problems, policies, and processes that cross international borders and affect lives around the world.

FSI attracts faculty from across Stanford who are interested in taking an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to international studies. More than 50 scholars constitute the institute's core faculty as senior fellows, senior fellows by courtesy and center fellows. They are:

In addition to engaging its core faculty, FSI works with many Stanford faculty members from across the campus who are affiliated with the institute's centers and programs.
